Guidance:

- Feature articles and interviews are generally 2,000-3,500 words
- Reviews of single-person exhibitions and of single books are 750 words
- Group exhibitions and multiple book reviews are 1000

Other regular columns include:

- ‘Spotlight on Art’ in which one work of art is looked at in detail and with reference to contemporary theological or spiritual thinking

- Reviews of new commissions of artworks within places of worship are also reviewed

- Conference reports

- ‘A letter from …’ featuring a city or region and its artistic and religious life.

Please note that we are unable to pay contributors to the journal but we do aim to reimburse reasonable travel expenses.

We welcome younger writers and can offer support and guidance in developing writing and critical skills.
