The Art and Christianity Journal is our quarterly members’ publication which, since 1994, has published features, exhibition and book reviews, news and comment from the field of art and religion.
Art and Christianity’s journal maintains independence from any denominational or institutional affiliation and gives a critical perspective on a wide range of artistic projects such as exhibitions and new commissions as well as theological responses to art and culture.
Issues are published quarterly in February (Spring), May (Summer), August (Autumn) and November (Winter) in full colour (since no. 116). The copy deadline is a month in advance. Proposals for articles and reviews are welcome and will be considered by the editorial board. Books for review and press releases may also be sent to the director, Laura Moffatt.
The editorial board is: Sarah Adegbite, Peter Doll, Jonathan Koestlé-Cate, Rob Hawkins, Hannah Hempstead, Ayla Lepine, Deborah Lewer, Inge Linder-Gaillard, Laura Moffatt, Charles Pickstone.
Join as a member to receive quarterly issues of A&C. Single issues costs £6.50 (includes postage) or you can request a free issue by emailing us with your postal address (subject to availability).
