Saturday 31 May, 11.30am – 4pm
Join A+C Director, Laura Moffatt, to visit the latest A+C Art in Churches project in the Grade I listed St George’s Ramsgate. We’ll be led on a special tour up the tower to view the 1832 Vulliamy clock mechanism, and experience the immersive audio installation by Phil Coy.
We’ll also make a visit to The Shrine of St Augustine, A W Pugin’s complex of church, cloister and ancillary buildings (now the National Pugin Centre); and to the 11th-century St Laurence-in-Thanet, Ramsgate’s oldest church with its beautiful Victorian stained glass, and historic monuments and hatchments.
