Workshop: Lou Baker – Social Knitwork at Dore Abbey

  • Dore Abbey School Ln Abbey Dore, Hereford HR2 0AA (map)

Saturday 12 October 2- 4pm

Join Lou Baker in some mindful making alongside her installation of red knitting in the spectacular Dore Abbey. Making is good for you; research shows that the repetitive actions of many textile processes can improve wellbeing. Making with others adds a different dimension; it leads to mellow conversation and a sense of connection. Bring your knitting, crochet or sewing, make a pompom or just come and be part of Lou’s Socialknitwork.

Suitable for all ages, materials and tools provided.

If you're travelling by public transport please contact us to arrange a lift from Abergavenny.

This workshop is free. We welcome donations! artandchristianity.org/checkout/donate
