Workshop - Lucy Glendenning – Unleash Your Drawing Skills at St Jerome’s

£0.00

Sunday 13 October 2-4 pm

This is a workshop for experimenting and exploring the fun of drawing through different materials. Using a combination of speed, meditation and drawing with movement, we will be drawing from the imagination and subconscious, responding to the beautiful atmosphere of the church at St Jerome’s. Experimenting with mark making and materials, from ink, charcoal and graphite powder, the aim of this workshop is for the focus to be on the process and experience of drawing rather than the outcome, to demonstrate how drawing exercises, like these, can stimulate creativity and innovative thinking, and by alleviating participants from the pressure of any outcomes, the results can often be a delightful surprise.

This workshop is for everyone, whether you haven’t drawn since school, lack confidence or are terrified, but would love to have a go, wish to develop new skills and techniques, or are a student eager to explore and deepen your understanding of drawing and materials.

All materials will be provided.

This workshop is free. We welcome donations! artandchristianity.org/checkout/donate
